Welcome SquirrelWitch I have a similar BMI and am also at ‘ that’ stage of life!
I’ve started following LCHF and intermittent fasting which has helped. As you can see from my stats I haven’t lost loads ( I did get my stone badge within 10 weeks but have yo yoed a bit) but I’ve definitely lost inches from the middle / waist area which has helped me feel so
much better.
Good luck!
Hello and welcome SquirrelWitch 😊
Hi, found this site today and am hoping will support and motivate me. I hit the sad step at Boots this lunchtime and I am at my heaviest too (also perimenopausal). 12st 10lbs and BMI 30.4. Gave up smoking 7 years ago and its been a gradual gain - loss - bigger gain climb since then. Not helped by being surrounded by slim 20 somethings at work who eat what they like and are a size 8 and still moan.
