Hi all, looking to loose weight, get fitter and have the support. When I stopped smoking I joined a group and we all went through the days/months together and I'm stopped 5 years but have put on 3 stone. Still trying to navigate in this group - is it just 1 forum? . Kaz x

Hi kazdee

Congratulations on quitting - 5 years is a great record! Like you I gained 3 stones when I quit - I went from 8 stones to 11 stones very quickly on Woolworths pick and mix!!.. That was from February 1982!!

And now you're here, so a Big Welcome to the best weight loss forum there is.. it's supportive, encouraging, has great events and is all free.. just connect to wifi and your in!!

Please check with your health professional regarding your actions to lose weight and get their support locally to compliment this wonderful forum...

The best way to benefit from this forum is to be as involved as you can be, join one of the Weigh In's for the day that best suits you to check your weight each week, plan your menu's with the Daily Diary and chat and encourage others and you will reap the rewards and be motivated to move towards your goals with more determination than you can have on your own!

Do have a good slow read of the newbie post the admin team will give you a link for.. I call it the sat-nav to the forum benefits..

Cheering you on to success..🎉🎉🎉

Hi well done on quitting! I quit 4 years ago but still vaping , would you like to join our summer challenge starting on the 26th and pledge to achieve something in 10 weeks? Drop a dress size, fit into an old outfit, lose an inch or get fitter? Im going to pledge hitting 20,000 steps on my fitbit, beating my personal best x

Yeah I suppose if I get the 10,000 that will help. Even half a stone would really motivate me. So to get to 13 stone that can be the pledge. I'm 13.8 just now. I am going to join Monday weighin. X
