Welcome to the forum GinnyPig

The best advice would be to read the information provided ny moreless im the welcome pack and to imvolbe yourself in the forum as much as you are able, and plan!

We have daily diary posts so you can poo your meal intentions down and receive helpful tops on how to improve it (if thats needed) 🥰 theres also a weigh in post everyday, choose a day that suits you best and try stick to that each week and post any loss or gain or a STS (stay the same) - youll receive lots of support and advice from likeminded people, were all here and in similar boats

Good luck GinnyPig - do you know what you are aiming for, mini goals are helpful 9 especially if, like me, you have quite a long journey ahead!).

I started with counting calories, low fat the usual thing but after reading various different posts, I started the LCHF diet which is suiting me really well and I no longer need to count calories, just enjoy my food ( although it does mean saying goodbye to bread, rice, pasta, potatoes) which some people can't do.

I do love cooking with butter though and eating nuts and cheese, so it's not all bad!!

Good luck with whatever you go ahead and do. I weigh in on a Sunday but don't be a stranger on the forum, people are here all the time to give advice and support!

Thank you for your support. I didn’t think about short term goals, good idea as it gets a bit overwhelming when I think of the total loss I want to achieve.
