Struggling: Hi everyone, I'm really... - Weight Loss Support
Struggling
Welcome to the forum supersandwich! One of the admins will be around at some point to give you the official welcome pack. A lot of us start on the 12 week plan and then learn what works for us from there. I follow low carb, high fat and finding it something that I literally will be able to follow for life. That's what we should aim to look for, something that is a sustainable lifestyle change Good luck, wishing you success!x
hey guys!!! I am struggling with being happy with my body...I am not exactly super heavy or heavy at all....I am just not happy!! any ideas would help my weight loss journey!!
Hi and welcome, eveellis
Have you spoken to your GP? It sounds as if you have a problem with body dysmorphia and they may be able to arrange some counselling for you, to help you feel happy with the way you look.
When you feel this way, trying to lose weight may exacerbate your symptoms and/or lead to an eating disorder, which does concern me.
Wishing you all the very best

Hi Supersandwitch and welcome!
I also found the NHS 12 week plan a huge help with tons of advice and links to recipes.
Good luck on our journey.
find writing down everything I eat really makes you think about your food so easy to eat without thinking, also sometimes try a drink of water it could be thirst rather than hunger,, Good luck its cos we like food the weight goes on so try some distractions
