Hello Amie, I’ve replied to your other post so please have a read of that about all the things the forum has to offer 😊
Fat shaming is disgraceful, and definitely no way to encourage and support anyone. I am so sorry if this has happened to you, your weight is just a number on the scales and does not define who you are as a person. Eating junk because you’re unhappy is self destructive, if understandable. I’m afraid I don’t have a magic wand, but let me assure you, you are amongst friends here. Have a read of this article which may help helpguide.org/articles/diet...
Have a good read of all the information I gave you, and start to join in with things on the forum, we are a very friendly group and all understand how you feel 😊
I'm so sorry to hear this, even if they mean well and are trying to shock you into changing, it's still an unacceptable way to behave.
Maybe you can't control other people's unkindness but you can tell them how it makes you feel. And you can definitely control how you respond.
If you want to lose weight then don't let them sabotage you like this. You can take control, to me it has been the best feeling in the world.
I need to hold my head high. At the moment any little thing gets to me. I've put so much weight on over the last 2 years just feel stuck

Hi, Amie1995 , Welcome. What matters is not what they say - but how you react to it.
Try to imagine that they are trying to help... you could even ask their advice.
You could tell them that, after the Brexit disaster, there will be no food in the shops for months - and you will be OK!
My brother is BMI 45 - what should I say to him? (I have told him about this forum).
