Confused

Well now, I'm confused. I downloaded the NHS diet app, which I think led me to health unlocked. Having finally read about the real food diet for weight loss article for which you supplied the link, I am wondering if I should be following the NHS diet or the real food one, which incidentally sounds like the keto diet. Can someone help me please?

You are welcome to follow whichever plan you prefer. Forum members follow both the NHS 12 week plan and the low carb high fat plan, and you will get support, whichever you choose.

Could I remind you about locking your posts, for extra security and privacy?

I'm biased as I've been eating low carb high fat since last August - lost weight and feel great. Not sure what you've read so far but this post from a fellow member was part of what convinced me:

Thank you Cheritorrox, you really have made me think, and I am seriously thinking of trying the lchf diet. I have around 2 1/2 stones to lose and my husband needs to lose around 5 stones. Getting rid of sugar cravings will be a big plus as we both have a sweet tooth. Thanks again, I will let you know if we do it and how we get on. I don't know much about it, for instance how much carbs per day?

If you want to do a quick induction, then 2 weeks at 20g of carbs daily is recommended. However a number of members have had success with just gradually reducing the obvious carbs until their body shows them by fewer cravings and binges that they have found their right balance. Pick a version that's right for you :)

everyone's answered for me - for a single reference website try dietdoctor.com

PS lots of advice from experts on the LCHF forum - honestly, ask anything and you will get help (a bit like here but more specialised!) :)
