Going to the gym

Well as part of my weight loss journey I’m going to do the C25K followed by the park run that happens literally outside my front door.

Being blunt I hate running outside, I feel really self conscious about it, so I will do it at the gym.

As I’m there, I ought to use the rest of the equipment so I get benefit from the time I allocate.

I’ve had a lol at the communities here but can’t see one that ties into exercise except for the C25K one.

Have I missed a truck somewhere?

That’s odd, when I look for communities on the app I only see loads of charity based ones plus weight loss and C25K.

But the links work perfectly - much appreciated!

The app is a complete waste of time and totally unnecessary. Get rid of it and log onto the full website.

I´m running a 5k obstacle course early Mai and I´m SO not a runner. Started my prep two weeks ago and so far it feels surprisingly good! I alternate running outside and in the gym so I can affirm the validity of a tip a kindly veteran runner gave me: keep the treadmill at a slight incline or the change to running on normal ground will feel like a real chore.

I hope you'll join us at the Sunday weigh in again this weekend, and that you'll make a little time to talk to some of the others posting there and share the support around. Once you get into the team, you'll find it's a great source of support.

Have a good week :)
