Hi, I have struggled with my weight and eating disorder since my childhood. Now I am 26 years old, happily married, have two beautiful kids but still my binge eating problem is always with me. Last year I managed to lose few stones, I felt fab, but I couldn't stick to it for long, it all crept back to me this year. This year, 2018, it was all about worrying about my weight, limitless starting afresh and failing.. But I want to make a difference from 2019. I want to give it my all from 2019.. I hope I will find some friends here..

Hello AmiraShonais and welcome to the forum 😊
Often it comes down to eating the right food and being kind to yourself. Don't think in terms of being very restrictive but of finding a healthy way of eating that you can enjoy for life. You're sensible to think of it as something to work on throughout the year and you'll have all our help and support: you only have to make sure you come here regularly, just a few minutes every day would be ideal.
A good way to start would be joining tomorrow’s weigh in team in the morning. You'll get to know a very supportive bunch of people who will appreciate your support, too. Here's the link. If you read the opening post, it will explain all healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh...
You'll find a list of all the forum activities here healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh...
..... and this Newbie pack will help you find your way around healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh...
We also ask that you read this information about internet privacy and security .....
I see your post isn't locked. This means that it, and any replies, can be shared around the Internet without your knowledge or consent (see the Twitter and Facebook logos below your post). Often that won't matter to you but sometimes people discuss personal stuff or accidentally disclose something that might identify them so we think it's a good extra level of security to lock your posts.
Wishing you all the best and I hope you become an active and supportive member of the forum 😊
Well it will be a new year soon and hopefully this one will be successful for all of us
Hi AmiraShonais you have come to the right place for support and encouragement this forum is full of positive people who all understand how difficult it is to loose weight.
Please take each day one at a time, make small changes like drinking more water, eating more fruit and veg and avoid the junk food.
If you return each day to this forum we can do it together, loose weight and keep it off.
XxX
Good morning, AmiraShonais, how about joining us at today's weigh in? We're a friendly bunch and you'll be made very welcome. Just click on the link, read the opening post and it will explain all healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh...
My weight was guided by happiness and sadness . My eating as a child was sport related and my parents who encouraged me by making me light meals etc . Happiness through marriage and children gave me confidence to pile on pounds over the years as I bought / served the food . Take this as a positive. You are still in control if you shop mindfully. You will
help your family if you have different food in the house . Family walks, swimming then some time for yourself doing group classes could psychologically be the boost you need .
