Hi im newish. I joined last monday. Start weight 77.2 kg this week 75.5kg so im over the moon! Iv started running a bit to (not far not even a mile yet but il get there i think) Anyways need to be around 68kg, to be healthy weight range so i have a fair bit to lose. Funny how the weight creeps on when you take your eyes of the scales!

Well done, yes it creeps up and would be great if it crept down as easily. For the running I recommend the NHS couch25k app. The 3x week effort is great for building up your stamina.

Hi Gracie I know exactly what you mean about the scales I think they do it to trick us types trying to lose weight. Well done on a great first week I’m just starting too so tracking everything and always surprised at amounts I should be eating ( never seems enough but I’ll get used to it)

Well done on the running I envy you as I’ve often wanted to but knee replacement gurus say no to that. Trying to get walking and following exercise plan from PT so fingers crossed I get it all sorted.

Keep go8ng you are doing brilliant things.

Thank you for your support. Good luck with your first week, a brisk walk is good enough and theres always swimming too, but you need to get back on your feet first ☺
