Disheartened

Being trying to lose weight since January- then it was 3 lbs- now it is a stone! Went on a keto diet and gained 10 lbs. Feeling hopeless and sad. None of my clothes fit. My jeans are too tight and there's a christmas event I want to go to.

Dear saz212 , lots of us have been down and frustrated with ourselves and our bodies. This forum is really great for getting support during the hard times. There are all sorts of emotional reasons why we overeat. Have a look at the happiness challenge posts, because often it is our attitude and emotions which are getting in the way. If you eat fewer calories than your body needs, you will lose fat - that is a scientific fact - but you need to find the eating patterns that suit your lifestyle. I started over a year ago with calorie counting with the NHS plan, but now I know when I am overeating (and/or not getting enough exercise). Stay with it, and you will see success. All the best,
