Welcome and congratulations on your first steps.

I have just started back on this forum and like yourself from a similar age put on a lot of weight which I am now loosing.

You will find no better place in my opinion where you can be motivated and advised on what to do for you.

Use the tools provided and don't be afraid to ask for help and advise and you will soon accomplish your goals.

Good luck.

Hi Bfg . Gender here doesn't matter we all have a common goal . Small steps of planning and shopping wisely . If it isn't in your trolley then you haven't got it in your cupboard. I really took this initially like a new job . MyFitnessPal free app helped me with what I could eat. Can you swim or walk even part way to shop ? Any exercise = you can't eat whilst you're partaking and you get to a point where you think I've not done this for nothing . Try You Tube for starter exercises. If you have posted on here then this is a new start . Let us know at least weekly your progress. Ask any questions. This is a great forum as we all have to start somewhere.

Hi Bfg80, a very warm welcome to you. I joined this forum a few weeks ago and with the support from other members on here I have lost 1 st 6lbs! I still have a very long way to go, but it's great to know I can log on here and if I am finding I'm losing my resolve, or just need a bit of extra support, the other members respond almost immediately with words of encouragement. It really helps. It doesn't matter how much weight you have got to lose, taking the first step to reduce your weight is the most important. I wish you well and look forward to hearing about your progress. Good luck!

Hi Bfg80! Welcome to our forum. Because we also have a problem with our weight, we know exactly how you feel. Together we support each other and I hope you will find the forum as helpful as I have. Sometimes, knowing you are not alone is reassuring and just the support you need to help you stick with your healthy eating plan. Don't worry if you have a bad day, it's not the end of the world. It is quite normal to give in to temptation at times. Log in to the forum and vent your feelings. Then forget it and resolve to get back on track. You will find lots of support from other members because we have all been there and will be again. Then perhaps you might be posting a message on here to me, to help me keep on track. Good luck Bfg80. I look forward to hearing how you get on.
