I have taken the old advise of getting off the bus 1stop early and walking and adapted it so I get of my train journey home 1station early and bike home from there. So instead of a1 mile cycle ride home it’s now 5 and if I’m feeling good I take different routes so adding to the mileage. It helps doing something you like so it’s more pleasure than chore. Also as I have a dodgy knee it’s good for that to as it’s not weight bearing. Good all round.

Well done jimmydadog, a great way of getting in some extra exercise and even better that you enjoy doing it.
How about joining in with our Kicking the K's challenge and helping us get to the moon, or the Time to get moving challenge and help us save our life in a year.
They are both a bit of fun and your cycling would really help boost our totals. Take a look in Pinned Posts for the challenges
¿What is the total distance to work - might you work up to cycling the whole way?
It is great to travel, and get fit at the same time!
(My son cycles about twelve miles each way across London most days.)
When I was middle-aged I cycled 15,000 miles a year... and it did help control my weight!
