Hi. Im posting for the first time. After two pregnancies I have 23kg to lose. I have just worked out my BMI to be 29.5. I have never been this heavy in my life and my knees are so sore!

I have been trying to calorie count but towards the end of the week I always lose my motivation. I will weigh in next Thursday.

Hi MaggieMt, I'm in a similar boat to you - calorie counting is great to help control and monitor what exactly is going in your body each day! I have found using the higher limit for my calorie range for my bmi helps me not to feel like I'm starving / going off the rails with a binge eat. I tried to stick to 1400 calories at the start but I just couldn't do it - start off higher and try to come down in calories slowly. Good luck with your weigh in and try not to get disheartened if you feel you've had a worse day for eating. x
