Didn't mean to take such a sad-sounding title but Autumn Leaves seemed to have been taken! Heard myself say to my husband today that at at 54 I can't imagine ever feeling fit again so have decided to lose the 21 lbs or so I seem to need to (he does too...) Main battles are too much wine, idle snacks and lack of exercise: although I do walk a fair bit it's hardly ever enough. Oh, and driving my 9 year old to sports sessions and sitting in the car while she gets fit! Anyone in the same boat out there?

Fully recognise your plight, in the same age, and wine/snack regime. However, I signed up to this a few weeks ago, doing the daily diary and couch25k programme. I have lost a good amount, and feeling so much better within myself.
