I have about four stone to loose. If I can break this down to One stone initially may not feel as daunting.
4 stone would be nice to lose, i guess if we look at it as a change to a healthier lifestyle, rather than a diet. Then we will all achieve our goals, keep the support coming

Hi, Daniel! Do you realize how shaming it is for me to be a man's weight and waist measurement? It hurts - gas giant on stilts! But, hell, time to do something about it. Down to 15st 8lb in 8 weeks so on the right spiral. Welcome on board - hope you don't mind being surrounded by hordes of wailin' wimmin!
need some support in getting this lifestyle changed. if that means hordes wailin' wimmin. Then the more the merrier advice and support is needed.

Hey guys, I'm starting this tomorrow... Looking to lose 10 kilos or so in the upcoming weeks. I am going to try and limit my calories in that time to say 2100, whilst upping the exercise of course. My main issue will be the calorie limiting I imagine. But it's time to sort myself out, so I'm ready for this.

Hi I'm new - ive just joined the site tonight and downloaded the 12 week plan. I have mfp and I have a fitbit I used to be very slim and very fit but towards the back end of last year I started having trouble with my gallbladder. I finally had an operation in February this year (emergency op) and have been trying to get back on an even keel since then. Ive struggled however and now have just shy of 2 stone to lose, not to mention I am struggling to motivate myself to exercise. So im hoping lots of positivity and support on this site will help me through!

Hope everyone is sticking to their targets. I've been having a good day and surprisingly feeling good about it. Usually find this a bit of a chore but fingers crossed I'll stick on the right track from now on. I've promised my self the 12 weeks. So would maybe do another 12 after, then it should hopefully be habit rather than a chore.

Well done on your day so far. Mine's been alright, though i hurt my quadricep a little during exercise which is annoying. Still, got a few hundred calories left for the day so it'll do for day one.

Need to eat more me thinks!! Did a spreadsheet yesterday and recorded what I ate as I went along- nothing missing so didn't cheat. I only consumed 769 cals. That's not heathly...
Hi Thanks for that. Just signed in to my fitness pal and entered my food etc for today so far. So much easier.
Also use myfitnesspal after a few days it gets easier to use as it has all your usual foods saved. Plus it may seem monotonous adding each individual ingredient in a meal. If it's a meal you have regularly then save it so it adds all ingredients in a couple of clicks next time round

Joined the gym today and burned 800 calories, that's been knocked off myfitnesspal total for the day but I don't want to eat anymore I'm full enough.
My target is 1700 per day. Done pretty much 1600 each of last 3 days. I know I'm not hitting my target but not necessarily miles away.
