I'm away with friends and then work so I won't be around for the Monday group weigh in, so I wanted to post my stats at today: 87kg (no change) and 41" (no change).
However, I noted it was 12 weeks since I started attempting to make changes, and therefore time for some reflection. In that time I have lost 2kg and 3" off the waist, which isn't massive. But...
I have to thank the wider community for letting me in, despite all my flaws and damages. Critically, I haven't gained weight overall. I gained four stone in four years, so to halt that advance, I would consider not bad. I could have done a lot better. But I have sometimes changed what I eat. That's an improvement.
And thanks to your support, I'm still here, and I'm still trying, and I never thought I would even be here. I have at least held myself to account. And I have to thank you for that. I could not have faced what is a partly a huge mental issue for me. And while I haven't won yet, I am still looking it in the face.
The very best of weeks to you all ahead.

I would like to wish you a lovely time with your friends and we'll miss you at the Monday weigh-in this week, but will look forward to catching up when you're back. Remember we're open till Friday at 18 00 incase you do get chance to pop by, but just come over whenever is convenient for you - after you're back.
I think you have shown great resolve to stay with things, and you've noticed some great changes - losing 2 kg and also 3" off your waist is brilliant! Congratulations!
Wishing you a great week, and hope to see you again soon.

What a lovely post well done you ☺
It's so full of possitivity
We all know in general not being in control of our weight is a bit of a mental issue and no I'm not saying we're all mad ( Although theres nothing wrong with that - its good to be a little zany ) but being possitive and keeping that control is good 😀
It is great to have good support on here thanks from me to you great guys
You have achieved a lot of important milestones - as you say just thinking carefully about food ha led to loss and maintenance very important things. It's keeping going that is the key - I lost 9lb in my first round of the 12 week challenge. Not earth shattering either but as of today I have lost 9lbs in my second round- again not earth shattering but combined worth a lot. Enjoy your break and keep going onwards and downwards 😀
I hope you stay around Lofters, now you have got the hang of what needs to be done and how to do it, the next 12 weeks could quite well be a lot easier.
It has been good to have you here and agree that it is a great community. It has helped so many people and that is down to the members.
What strikes me, Lofters, is your improved self-esteem. You've gone from publicly denouncing yourself, to recognising and applauding (almost ), the massive changes you've made to your life.
You've managed to apply the brakes and engage 1st gear and with our support, you're going to learn how to manoeuvre the clutch and accelerator, for a nice, steady move forward
The next 12 weeks are going to be just as amazing as the first 12 weeks and I wish you all the very best with them
