Well I've committed myself. I've avoid the scales and denied to myself the truth. I've uploaded the NHS apps and found out that I'm 27.9kg overweight. There I've said it out loud. I started last year with Alopecia and in 6 weeks I'd lost it all. 12 months later and my Alopecia is now universal (everywhere.) So now I thought I need to take control and number 1 is my weight. I'm going to my first yoga session tonight and paying for 5 sessions to commit myself. I work in a school so I've a full week to really start this and kick it to a full start.

Hello and welcome Cornwall64
As you say, you can spend this week working out what changes you need to make, and using all the forum has to offer for support and ideas. How about joining today's weigh-in, so you can be part of a team for mutual support? You'll find it here healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh... Have a read of the opening post, scroll through and give a bit of support to people, then add your weight in the "reply to..." box, and you're underway!
If you're going to be calorie counting, you'll see your advised range in the pic you've posted. We suggest you start at the upper end so you have somewhere to go as you lose weight and need fewer calories.
Wishing you a good week and I hope we see you around the forum

This is a great group- loads of support, advice, ideas and absolutely no judgement. You can ask any question you need to and someone will help.
Good luck with your journey, you’ve made a great decision to start here. Remember to take a day at a time and be kind to yourself. 😊
Welcome to you and best wishes.
Make the commitment and take the small steps along the way.
Looking forward to seeing the numbers coming down and celebrating each success along the way
