Only like carrots runner beans and peas for veg. So struggling alot, anyone with ideas I would be so grateful..
Hi Honey15-you have come to the right place and will get lots of support here. your diet doesn't sound too bad. I did slimming clubs years ago and always put the weight back on, they didn't help me and I was always hungry which is not the case now-a healthy lifestyle is the way to go and I really do enjoy food now although it is always a struggle keeping on track. This has helped me the most and I am in my third week and feeling very positive. It does help having others in the same boat giving you encouragement and support so I hope you will find the same.
Sorry to hear you suffer from depression - I understand how much that can affect eating and food habits.
Sounds as if you have the beginnings of some good meals there. Why not take a peek st the Recipes Section under Topics. Loads of ideas there. And I reckon if you join the Daily Diary like Moreless suggests you will find people will help with suggestions of things you might like.
Like you I've also done the diet clubs and now I'm sick to the back teeth of them! I'm trying to just eat healthily and move more.
Exercise is fab for depression, even a 20-30 minute walk every day will help 😊
I'm very well trained in fussy eaters having 5 kids and 2 grandchildren and I've found that grating veg works wonders in most things like casseroles, spag bol etc. Courgette, carrots, finely chopped mushrooms etc are great. Do it in the last hour of cooking though so as not to lose vitamins.
Baked beans are great too as are lentils and mixed beans. Good luck to you x
