Just joined with ending a lifetime of yoyoing with various diets. Hoping to just eat healthily and lose the weight. I have also just been made redundant and I am in need of a bucket full of confidence to get out there again.
We have put together a Newbie pack with all the information you will need to find your way around the forum and to get you started. Spend a few minutes to read through all the information as it is important to help you enjoy the best things the forum as on offer. The link is below:
Hi DRS thank you, it's my great neice. The crutches are for my knee replacement that has loosened and gone squiffy after a few falls. Surgeon waiting to see if it sorts it's self out or needs re-doing. Losing weight will help big time
Welcome Soobeez you will find that there are loads of us in the same position as you. Paying out thousands of pounds to weight loss companies and never really keeping the weight off. The NHS plan doesn’t involve any ‘free food’ gimmicks, just plain old common sense. Everything that you eat and drink must be accounted for.
Although it might appear that starting a new ‘diet’ when you’ve just been made redundant is hard. Turn it round and make this a time to start creating a new you. Things can only get better (I’m going to have that song in my head now - lol). Good luck x
