Just back from Mama Mia, great fun girly film. A little action but, chose to have a diet coke and nothing else. Normally would have sweets and ice-cream (oh damn forgot the tiny bag of Sunkist my friend gave me!) But could have been a huge bucket full! Learning curve. Printed off the 12 week plan too, want to read and understood it, starting in earnest next week. Long walk today upped the steps also. Feeling positive. Glad I found you all! πππ

I love the plan but in case you haven't spotted it already, do be aware that the 1400 cals mentioned is only a generic number for women. To get the calorie range tailored specifically for you, run the NHS BMI calculator...

Do take note of what Tiggerr said about your calorie allowance: get a personalised one from the NHS BMI calculator, the 1400 is likely to be too low
Well done - I always want to have ice cream or choc at the cinema (and my local does pizza too, which is really tempting), so I'm trying to break the association and take a small, healthy snack with me. Good luck!
