I have been recommended to eat 1400 call a day to lose weight (this is wit a deficit). But when I exercise, can I make up the difference I've just exercised?

You can get the correct calorie allowance for you, by entering your details into the NHS BMI calculator. This takes exercise into account and doesn't need to be altered after each workout.
