That's great julie. .slow and easy don't do to much and once love cycling I hope to get back to it 1 day ๐ด
oh honey you can do this!!! I suggest you break it up into smaller bits though. I do 1 to 2 pounds a week and it works well for me (except maybe today when I ate fried chicken and mashed potatoes, lol) it has stayed off so far and I am also feeling good! you will have days when you just don't feel you have the strength to do it and if you do, come on here and get some encouragement. this is the place to be when you are feeling overwhelmed or you just want to eat a whole bunch of junk food! it works for me when I use it and I know it will work for you too!
You can do it, one step at a time. Iโm new as well. Today is day one for me. Going to be heading into the office shortly and as always it will be full of snacks and cakes ๐ฉ
Hi and welcome, Julianne

Hello and welcome Julieanne ๐
Hi and thank you Anna
Good luck! You can do it!
Iโve got a similar amount to lose but Iโve broken it down into small steps. For example - Getting into the next stone down, losing 7 lbs, passing a half stone marker. It doesnโt feel such a mammoth task then. Good luck
Thank you.
Sorry well done to you...
Hi Julieanne! I have to lose 5 stone and am trying to cycle too! And I love crisps - still not sure if I'm going to be able to give them up.
Hope all goes well, and see you around on here. We've both got the same goals and are trying the same thing, so it'd be good to see how you do. I'll try and get as many tips as possible from you if that's ok
I am a serious crisp addict and I know at this point I could not and will not give them up. I'm calorie counting and I allow one packet from a multipack every day which I save until the evening. For the first 4 weeks I also had a small bar of chocolate like a milky way or a crunchie from a multipack every evening too but now I only have one occasionally
I've been trying 'low fat' crisps, like baked crisps and snack-a-jacks. To be fair, the baked crisps are quite nice, I'll see how I go on them! No substitute for chocolate though, I'll just have to try and dig up some willpower from somewhere - or borrow some of yours!
I can't do low fat crisps it would feel like a sin ๐ I get the multipacks because the packs are smaller so a bit lower in calories. As for the chocolate a milky way does the job when I'm craving for some and at 97 calories they aren't too high
I must admit chocolate isn't a problem as I don't eat it I don't like the taste. But I would eat at least 6 bag'of crisps a day... Not anymore. ๐
Justsharon wish I had your willpower with crisps. I can't even have one packet because I know in my heart 5 more would follow ๐
If I didn't have a packet a day, within 3 or 4 days I would be sitting there devouring a 24 size multipack and sadly that is the truth
Snap. That's why I can't touch them...
Crisps my big downfall to. There was a big bag in the office today and I did not give in. They were cheese and onion my least favourite flavour so that helped ๐
I love cheese and onion. But never mind. I can go without. So should you. ๐
