Bad 😩

Well, the past two days I’ve done really bad. I’ve gone a good 500-1,000 calories over what I should and I didn’t drink my two litres of water yesterday!

I’m back on it today though. I’ve just had a pot noodle and a cup of tea and got meal preps for tomorrow. I’m also going on a 1hr 30 minute walk tomorrow! Just because I had 2 bad days doesn’t mean I’m going to start again or give in... They were only bad days because I had family gatherings and events, so I mindlessly ate. I feel better to know that I’m back on track again even after falling off the wagon. I’d much rather do 2 bad days and then keep going and crack on with my weight loss journey than just think “I’ve had 2 bad days, I’ll start again next week”. Onwards and upwards.

I will be posting everyday now, it’s just the last 2 days were bad days so I didn’t want to post it because I want my posts to be something I can be proud of when I look back.

Good persistence!

Going easy at parties and family events is hard, I haven't figured it out yet either. I try to sit somewhere away from the food table and hoodwink some poor relative into conversing with me and that helps, but at the end of the day who's going to turn down birthday cake? Just keep picking yourself up :)

Keep at it, you can do it!

Well done for not letting a couple of bad days throw you off track. They are just a tiny drop of water in an ocean of good efforts....you will get there if you stay focussed. I too had some bad weeks leading up to our house sale, but a better week this week. Summer is coming and we need to be fit and well to make the most of it!

It's all a learning experience isn't it? Identifying where you'd usually lose momentum.... sounds like you've made a great learning here.😀

Hi I have had 4 days of falling off the wagon this week, but all the bad food is out of the house since I have eaten them, so plan not to buy anymore. Like you and I refocusing, I plan my meals for the week so I can get the shopping in so here is to the both of us sticking to our plans!

That's really positive! It can be so easy to let a wee slip undo everything . Good for you 😀

Hi Lauryn,I know what you mean about continuity and progress.i have had similar to the bad days you mention.i think I'm at risk of going over calorie allowance today,so changed routine today to combat it,namely doing things I enjoy, and certain things/jobs done on another day.have a good week😊☕
