Lost weight then started bad habits again - Starting dieting tomorrow!!

I found losing weight quite easy but because of this I started up bad habits again by eating chocolate in particular, and now I am off-track on my weight loss. I'm going to start again tomorrow (Sunday 20th September)

I never set any mental target for my weight loss from a starting point of ove 21 stone, other than mini targets to get to the next stone off or initially to get below obese on the BMI scale. I thoughts a realistic goal initially would be to get to 15 1/2 stone but never really though I would reach that as I had accepted a was a fat person and would remain that way all my life. When I did get to merely overweight I never though about relaxing, just kept going and adding more exercise as I got fitter. Now down to 13 stone 3 1/2 lbs and am just 1/2 a pound off my healthy BMI and my mini targets are to get rid of the 1/2 pound to get to healthy BMI, lose 1 pound to get to total 8 stone loss. Lose 4 lbs to get into the 12 stones weight range.

I do have one MASSIVE target now and that is to not gain any of the weight back. I do occasional put the odd pound or two back on when I have a rare treat such as fish and chips but immediately try harder the next couple of days to lose it again.

I haven't got a massive sweet tooth but like most people I like chocolate and biscuits etc. my secret to avoiding these is simply do not buy them. Have had no obviously sweet stuff in my house now for almost 15 months. I travel a lot with work and if I get hungry on the motorway I call in the services and buy an apple as these places do not really stock healthy options.

Don't set a target then be happy, when you get there just decide to change permemantly if you can.i wish you all the best and if you have lost weight previously then you, will be able to,do,it again.

Thanks. Think this has got to be the most important thing or what was it all for.

Yes it was because I successfully lost weight quite easily and started to eat a bit badly again but from today I am eating better. I have already ate healthy breakfast, lunch, and snacks - and I'm feeling better already =)
