The snow has slowed me down as I walk every day with my dogs, but I compensated by finding this wonderful forum ....and cleaning π π

Well done Dotty
Wow, youβve done so well Dottydm. ππ¦πΈ
I feel the same about exercise. I walk every morning with my spaniel but although I do one or two exercise classes a week and do belong to the gym I do find it tedious. I mostly enjoy the social aspect of the keep fit classes. Iβm a bit older than you (well, quite a bit really) but I donβt want to creek too much as I get even older so any movement I can do helps, ha ha. And losing the extra bit of weight which has stubbornly settled over the past few years should help. The weight is slowly decreasing and with the support, hints and tips and recipes on here it makes me want to stick with it this time. πΌ
I've ditched the classes, every one seems young and fit, the walking is suiting me and my distances are improving with practice. My weight loss looks good but my first weigh in I lost 9 lbs, it was mostly water as I spent all week running to the loo !! I am happy with 1 or 2 pounds a week and hopefully will reach my target by the summer. I agree I want to stick with it, I really don't want to go into old age obese. I am a retired nurse and have seen the problems being overweight can cause. πΎ
Well done .
