I haven't posted often (maybe twice). I joined in December to try to maintain my weight going into January. I ended up gaining one pound in December, so the dieting/exercise kept the damage to a minimum. Decided to hit it hard on January 2nd. Plan was to lose weight by bicycling a lot while eating a fairly normal diet (no keto, only a very modest 20% drop in calorie intake). I hope to ride 1000 miles (1600 km) by 15March2018.
Through yesterday, I've completed 673.5 miles and have dropped 1 stone, 3.2 pounds (not bad for a 63-year-old). Target is to lose another half stone by 15March. At the current pace, it'll be close. What's neat is that I've only occasionally been hungry. Riding distance daily seems to nullify much of my hunger.

Good job. You should just be patient and dont try to force anything. With the amount of exercise you will definetely loose weight, and get to your targets.
