Hi jennwood62 here. Just wanted to wish all newbies and everyone wrestling with their weight a happy new year and new you. Why is it always that food for celebrating is so fattening so that we have to work hard in new year. Anyway a little of what you fancy will do you good so wrestle again in the new year. Have a fun time all

Jennwood62 Happy New Year to you too! Completely agree about fattening food being the celebration of choice - what a shame a nice soup isn't seen as the go to meal for celebrating :-)

Funny you should say that, I am in fact celebrating New Years with homemade spicy veg soup....

I like soup. It is so filling and comforting too followed by a ni e bit of fruit. Can't get enough. Good luck in your quest. It is only food and if you think how nice you will look as a slimmer you then go for it. I'm rooting for you girl. Happy new year

Happy New. Year to you ,

That's so true ,it's like we have to end the year eating rubbish.

I've been running this morning for 1 hour ,I came back and thought why eat rubbish after all that effort.so I'm not going to.

Well done gman1961. It takes a lot to have run for one hour. You deserve to lose seeing you are so controlled in your physical workouts. Have a really good new year as you physically deserve it ok

Hi there Kazzi. Do have a really great new year. Go to bed early if you feel like nibbling with the thought that Spring is on its way. Get fast walking or something. I shall have to leave my Westie at home while I do a spell of fast walking cause she sniffs so much. Would not do much speed walking with her. She'll be happy laying in basket while I rush along the roadside lol

I have a Cavapoo who scoots off everywhere while off the lead which enables me to power walk. Just need to do it 3 times a day instead of 1🤔😞☺

Just enjoyed a HD Chilli dish so a vodka tonic at the bells and looking forward to achieving my dream of wearing a size 12 in 2018👖👗

I'm looking forward to the new year....and getting back to a normal diet !!! alcohol every day (not loads) to celebrate the time of year is taking its toll !! Happy new year x Always a struggle though ......food is so nice !

I also have a penchant for my wine or any alcohol for that matter. At mo just picking but start diet in earnest on Tuesday when I go back to work. The regularity of work helps to keep you on straight and narrow as does regular bedtimes. It also stops us from eating everything around us. Once you get into regular work hours it all seems to become easier to control.have a good new year. Just eat if you are hungry and make it things not too high in calls. All the best for new year lol

Happy New Year Jennwood62 😊

I was just saying to a friend how difficult these events can be for anyone with food issues 😕 For a while I used to actually dread going anywhere unless I knew exactly what I would be eating and the exact calorie count. I was quite anxious about losing control 😕

With time, I have leant much stronger control. These highly processed foods, sweet stuff, pastry etc really doesn’t suit my digestion so I can just say no thank you. Don’t get me wrong, I’m no saint, and like you say, I have a little of what I really want, but I’ve realised I can have fun without eeating loads of rubbish 😊

Have a good evening and a very happy 2018 😊

I'm with you on this IndigoBlue61 and can't believe how well l've coped just saying no thanks.

Wishing you and yours A Happy Healthy 2018.🥂🎆🎇✨

Bizarrely I couldn’t find my scales into a few weeks of house renovations, after a while it didn’t matter and it was takeaways and boxed salads for about 10 days.

A while ago it would have really annoyed me, not now
