Hello everyone, 34 years old mum of two little monkeys. Full time worker and full time study so not much spare time in my life, however I am determine to shift those extra pounds.

Hi AllySt

Sounds like you have a full schedule and so it is hard not to resort to ready made food and snacks for speed

Try to make batches of healthy food and freeze them for those days you feel too tired to cook.

Try to walk whenever possible and when you are sitting at a desk for work or study stand up every 30 mins and walk about a bit.

Have handy healthy snacks , plain almonds, walnuts, celery sticks, carrot sticks available so you are not tempted by Hugh sugar alternatives which will boost you blood sugar rapidly and then drop so you want more.

Try to limit any simple carbs in your diet and eat low GI and eat plenty of protein

Hello, thank you for the tips, will definitely try them. Unfortunately I don't have freezer so it's fresh cooking pretty much everyday but the rest is certainly easy to implement.

Hello and welcome to the Weight Loss Forum AllySt 😊. I had three little monkeys so understand where you’re coming from, I never sat down so it was always a mystery how I got so overweight! My middle son now has his own ‘little monkey’ and I’m so glad I’m fitter and able to play with her 😊
