Hi everyone. I'm 35 and have somehow managed to become 3 stone overweight and am feeling thoroughly miserable. After trying and failing at slimming world again I think it's now time to stop all of that and try to remember how to actually eat properly!! Any help and support will be massively appreciated
I am a binge eater too so I do struggle. Vicky xx

Good for you for taking this massive step. I too am new to this site but deaf not new to bingeing for no reason. Good, good luck to both of us. Your words resonate with me - what I really want to do is remember how to actually eat properly - so true. I don't want all these guilt trips that come with "shall I, shan't I?" Or the daily "today is the day I start". I want it gone, to be replaced with the same feeling I have when brushing my teeth or going to the loo: no feeling or thoughts, just normal behaviour. All the best.

Good morning Vickytoria, i am pleased you have joined the forum lots of support here.
I can relate to your binge eating, for me it was boredom, feeling tired and lack of motivation. I would suggest keeping busy, go on a walk when you think a binge is coming on. Don't skip meals, this make you hungry for all sugary foods. For me it took time to break the cycle.
Hi Vicky, I know exactly how you feel. I'm a shade older and the naughty habits are tough to break. I've found its helpful to have a diet fizzy drink when I'm feeling like snacking. I'm now ready to trade that to water. Its definitely helped me avoid the snacks.
