My progress so far on Gout....

Hi, so I have had some really interesting and informative replies, I have found that the symptoms can vary quite a bit and some of the triggers are different, I found out that pulses can be a problem, and also that celery helps!

I haven't started to compile a list of triggers and things that help but I am considering it if it might help

any things people can think of would be useful

Thanks to all that I have spoken to, a very friendly and supportive forum.

Paul

Sounds like a great idea to compile a list of your triggers, and wishing you success with that, Paul.

Hope you enjoy the weekend.

Zest :-)

Gout is very painful Paul, I’m glad you are finding the triggers 😊

Hi Anna

Yes its quite a problem when you do get a flare up as it rules everything and is really disabling , so the more information and suggestions I can gather the better.

Hi Paul, I've suffered from gout for years. About 6 months ago my doctor subcribed me Allopurinol, and I haven't had a single gout attack since. It's a blessing :)

Hi Tomas thanks for the replies, I have been attack free for some months now and am in the process of building up a portfolio to manage both my Health and fitness going forward, I will keep posting as I gather anything that may be useful to other community members.

I am seriously considering taking up Yin Yoga as I have found a great community on here called "Whollyaligned" really helpful and informative.

Regards

Paul
