Hi. I'm Jan, .

I would like to lose between 1 & 1.5 Stone to bring me in line with my BMI and also to be able to get back into my size 12 clothes!

It's about time I stepped out of my leggings & trimmed my figure down. I feel I have been trying but obviously not doing it right.

Hi and welcome to the forum Jangordon Have a look at the NHS 12 week plan which can be found in the Newbie club :)

I would like to invite you to join our Newbie Club, which we hope will be a good place for you to connect with members, who are also just starting out, or re-starting.

If you just post a few words on the October Newbie Club thread to introduce yourself and respond to others there you will soon feel part of the club.

Follow this link to the Newbie club: healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh...

Please read all the information carefully, it is very useful and can be referred to whenever you want to check something.

It just remains for me to wish you well on your journey

:)

Hi Jan, I'm fairly new and I 'm still struggling....... like you just half a stone has become my nightmare and whatever I'm doing just isn't working either, so you are not alone. I've cut out carbs, don't snack and walk 2 miles a day. If you find the secret please let me know. Others really do seem to be doing great on here.

Hello Jan you have certainly come to the right place you will get loads of support That's not an awful lot to lose and if you set yourself mini goals you will do it Once those first few pounds come off its such a lovely feeling and it spurs you on

I found getting a little book that tells you how many calories are in everything it's a Godsend I'm always checking it and it's amazing how much you can have Don't cut out anything that you really love have it as a treat and figure it in with your daily calorie allowance

Post on here often it does help

I lost almost 2 stone and at the start I never ever thought it was possible as I had no willpower so if I can do it anyone can

You are joining a lovely group of people on here too

All the very best 😊
