I find that my work overload influences my ability to get off the blocks. Any tips please?

Dear Sue Keita
If you really want to lose weight you will prioritise your health and do something about it. Many people on this site have work and family pressures but have made a decision to do something about their weight
People on the forum will support you but only you can make it happen
Unfortunately, pcrw has a point and you need to make time to help yourself.
Read through the links that YellowRose has supplied... especially the NHS 12 week plan... and like your work, make a plan as to how you will be kind to yourself and start caring for yourself.
You will need to look at meal planning, if you don't already. Then you can use the slow days to compensate for the busy days. And batch cooking for the freezer is a great help for those days you don't have time to cook, you can pull a few portions out to reheat.
Good luck with your goals and finding time for yourself!
I agree. Take time to plan and pack meals for work so you don't have to think about it. Now is the best time. Life will always be hectic.
Hi, sueKeita and welcome. I also get very busy and stressed with work so I do sympathize with how it can take over your life. I tend to overeat when stressed which doesn't help. I have tried for several years to lose weight just by trying
(sorry, pressed the wrong button) ...just by trying to be more self controlled, but it is only this forum that has helped. I think it is meal planning and counting calories which is making the difference. I have accepted that I need to put in the time to plan meals in advance and check all the calories. Best of luck for your weight loss goals. You will need to put in time and effort but I'm sure you can do it
