I know but it surprised me that people like being slim and when someone actually works on that you get pressured to ignore the diet. One can't be slim and eat and drink everything ..... Well, most of us can't. Double standards imo.
I know what you mean Anna about being pressured into eating food that looks so tempting but we dont want. You have done this for you and very well done as I am still in the process of doing it for me. Im just slogging away quietly and if put in the position where someone is pressing something on me foodwise that I dont want I just say I cant have it as it gives me hellish heartburn. That usually stops them. If I said it was because I was trying to loose weight or didnt want to put weight on I would be told You dont need to loose weight. You have done fantastically well
You may not need to lose 2 more kilos - measurements can continue to go down during maintenance. I would say maybe maintain now, let yourself feel you've completed this. I spent a long time chasing after a few more lbs because of my pear shape figure and struggling to fit my hips into the styles of clothes that I wanted to wear. But I've learned that dressing well for my shape is just as effective, and trying too hard to reach a perfect weight can actually end up making you re-gain - classic yoyo. If you think the 2kg will be easy for you to lose then go for it. But just sharing my experience so you consider all your options And congratulations
Have you considered couch to 5k - is that something you might be able to do? That was the most effective thing I found for losing waist inches. The other thing to consider is we just all have dfferent body shapes, we have to work with what we've got. Your tummy must be quite small at 58kg even if you're still conscious of it. Perhaps you're not yet adjusted to what you see in the mirror yet, lots of people have this when they reach goal.
And your top tip was spot on - so many times I've heard "oh you don't need to lose any more, you'll look gaunt/one won't hurt you" etc etc and it's difficult to ignore. Well done you for doing so!
