Been exercising regularly for approximately 3 years and also eating healthy but I always seemed to stay at a steady weight which is fine ,but recently have been introducing some variation in my diet , including the odd pie night and takeaway and to my surprise I've lost weight , anyone have any idea why this is ?

Pies diet ?
Hi Alex1970 and welcome to the weight loss forum.
It could be that the pies you are having increased your calories to the correct amount, so you are now losing. Before, if your calories were too low, your body could go into starvation mode and you would stop losing weight.

Good luck with your first week.
Without more information about what you were eating before it is difficult to say. But a lack of information has never stopped me from making judgement before! I see two possibilities. The first is that you thought you were eating healthily but weren't and the second is that you were eating too little. It would definitely be worth looking at what you eat calculating the calories and macros to see where you are at. Good luck with it. James
Don't get me wrong I'm not planning to eat nothing but pies and takeaways it's just the odd night
