What sort of diet are you following? I found calorie counting is fab - you can eat what you want just count the calories . Labelling foods as 'bad' or 'cheating' has always felt detrimental to long term life changes to me - the main reason I dislike certain well known weight loss groups which call food sinful.

Anyway, put your cheat day behind you - today is a new day

I am careful about portion size and try and eat less fat and carbs but i find a regular cheat day helps me stay on track. I have tried many diets over the years but somehow always fell off the waggon. I began my current effort in January this year and have lost just over 3 stone. I could do with losing another stone. With a cheat day in my schedule i dont even feel as if i am on a diet, so it works for me. I am sure the diet police will continue to tell me i should not have cheat days, but as i have said it works for me.
