Hi everyone,

Am struggling at the moment about to start with Xenical again took a four week break I didn’t gain weight.... I am desperate to be healthy my Cerable palsy really makes being active difficult..... not winging lol

I also need a walking aid ...

Lwentvto see the dr & he strongly suggested the fasting diet ?

He explains nothing for breakfast just liquids

Till lunchtime then lunch would consist of lean protein ( small portions) & lentils salad or steamed vegetables

Desperate for any advice my matabolic rate is low wish me luck

None of us are medically trained Loulou-1973 so I can’t comment on the drugs your doctor has suggested or the diet, but I do know that I would trust a dietician more than an average GP when it comes to weight loss advice.

If he is referring to the Michael Mosley Blood Sugar Diet then I know some of our members have had great success with it, but I hope your GP is prepared to monitor and support you?

I hope you have had chance to read all the information Minniewinny gave you on Sunday, perhaps if you joined the Daily Diary and explained exactly what kind of meals you are eating we could help, you better?

I have found that if I eat enough and the right quality foods I don’t need to snack Loulou-1973

Also I prefer to eat earlier in the day, having a substantial lunch and smaller evening meal.

I have battled sleep problems for a few years but (touch wood) seem to be doing better at the moment, lots of exercise and very little caffeine have really helped. 😊

If you are going to try this, you need to make sure you are eating really good foods so your body gets all the nutrition it needs, and as Anna has said, ideally you need support from a doctor or nutritionist.
