Time to change

I'm 20 years old and up until 6 months ago have constantly fluctuated in weight and size but always found it easy to lose and always stayed within the "healthy" BMI range.

Since then, I have put on 3 stone in 6 months due to excessive comfort eating, stress, lack of sleep etc and now have a BMI of 26 that I am unable to shift. So it's time to stop feeling sorry for myself and change my lifestyle.

Hi and welcome Georgee1412 wow 3stone in 6 months - have you spoken to your GP regarding this weight increase? Please note none of us on here are medically qualified :)

have a look at the NHS 12 week plan, best place to start - we don't see this as a diet but a healthy eating which aids weight loss and helps us maintain when we get there :)

I would like to invite you to join our Newbie Club, which we hope will be a good place for you to connect with members, who are also just starting out, or re-starting.

If you just post a few words on the October Newbie Club thread to introduce yourself and respond to others there you will soon feel part of the club.
