Weight gain over Xmas :-(

Well following a fantastic Xmas and New year I've faced the dreaded scales.

Yes you've guessed a 2 lb weight gain :-(

To be honest I'm surprised it is not worse I'm still 7lb lighter than my starting weight but why Oh why is it so hard to shift and so easy to put on.

Not giving up but feeling dispondent

Don't be despondent! Put what you can't change behind you and concentrate on what you can change.

Half a stone is still great. Here's to the next.

Now smile :-)

Totally agree with runningmam. I put on 2lb too. Not over Christmas but during the 2 weeks before. Combination of meals out and lack of exercise due to dreadful weather. We know what to do though to shift it & more :-)

Well done for only 2lbs! I've put on 5lbs

I think a 2lb gain over such a challenging time of year should be seen as a result :) it's certainly not the end of the world Congratulations, don't let it get you down, there was a time when I would gain anything up to almost 2 stone over the festive period!

I put on 6!

It's good to have a couple of weeks off now and then, if only to remind yourself how rubbish you feel after eating rubbish food!

Back to the 5:2 for me .

Good luck everyone x
