Hi guys,

Looking for a straight forward sensible approach for long term health and weight loss. I've tried everything!! I can't be bothered with Syns or Points though it may work for some! It's just not for me. I have around 7 stone to loose so hoping I can't find a few weight loss buds along the way x

Good afternoon Glitterbaby, wanted to wish you good luck with weight lose journey. There are some inspiring stories on here, that will help you. I have been on my weight lose journey since july 2017, but am also new to this forum.

I would say go at your own pace, little changes like portion control, think ahead for healthy snack don't go to long without eating.

Good luck on your journey x

I use the myfitnesspal ap to calculate calories. It is really easy and you can find out your ideal calorie 'allowance' on the nhs website too when you check your BMI. The 12 week plan on the nhs website also worked for me as it reminds you to eat healthily and gives lots of tips. Also recommend the Couch25K programme which was brilliant for improving fitness too (free ap - also on NHS website).

Good luck!
