Big Jump in Exercise Demands for Week 2.

I got through week one and lost a pound. Fairly happy as I knew it would be slow as only need to lose a stone. But a big Jump I think for week two. 150 minutes of cardiovascular exercise is a jump if not used to exercise (I suffer with Crohn's disease, very low energy). Perhaps the guide should increase this demand more slowly... Anyone else found this difficult?

I think you should look at the 12 week plan as just that, a guide. You need to adapt it to work for you, so you should definitely build up your exercise at a rate that works for you. Also remember that exercise doesn't necessarily have to be done in one big session, you can do 10 minutes here or there as you're able to. And if you have any problems/questions/issues definitely consult your GP.

Good luck and congratulations on losing a pound! :)

Morning StepRho

Well done with losing 1lb this week this is a great start. Why not come along and join in with the weigh in? You can find it on the Home page in Events. :)

Try building up your exercise slowly as it will help your body get use to it. 150 minutes cardiovascular exercise is a lot to begin with. I started by doing 10 minutes a day and at the end of each week I added another 5 minutes.
