I currently have that I've-worn-a-skirt-without-tights-all-day fat thigh chafe thing going on. Remind me not to do that again until I've lost some weight!!!! Lol
Oucha!: I currently have that I've-worn... - Weight Loss Support
Oucha!
Lol! That's funny. What joy! Ouch
Erm what's a skirt?? LOL
I feel your pain🙁although I haven't actually worn a skirt for 10 years.....
I do of course mean ankle length maxi skirt :0) covers eeeeeeeeeevvvvvvvvrything! Lol
It was an ankle length one.lol I last wore a 'just above the knee' one on holiday in 1998 which was the last time I lost some weight😛😊61 years young now so aiming for an ankle length next year but then pigs might fly first🐖🐷🐖
ohh i know what you are talking about. the buuurnnnn i've got a nasty one this summer when wearing the wet board-shorts. :/
Hi kirstij Aw I cudnt actually tell you the last I wore a skirt. Oh yes I can it was 2011 after I'd lost over 6 stone. Not had one on since. I have 3 stones and 10 pounds to lose.
I was going to say I hadn't worn a skirt this side of the millennium, but thinking about it, I think I have worn one a bit more recently than that, but I used to wear leggings underneath as I'm not flexible enough to get into tights. I still have the skirt, maybe I'll wear it again when I've shrunk enough.
Talcum powder works a treat
Or a little cream / moisturiser, like Nivea or even vaseline. Soothes and stops the chaffing. I wear skirts for work sometimes, especially if I am somehere hot, as they are cooler. Am I the only one still wearing skirts occassionally? I must be a dinosaur ! Though for everyday use at home it is definitely stretch jeans as the best option for me ( and no chaffing!)
Be wary using talc in that region as apparently it can lead to cervical cancer Just meant to be a helpful warning
Oooooh sorry to be a preachy pain, but there's very little evidence to suggest that's true. Previously when talc contained asbestos there was some slight risk, but there's very little valid evidence to suggest it's true of modern talcum. I'm CRUK's senior research nurse at The Beatson in Glasgow so deal with lots of similar myths every day.
