Welcome neenu5974 to this forum. You will definitely learn lots and pick insightful tips to implement. You say your challenge area is the tummy, take time to review the foods you are eating. Too much carbs and high calorie foods are usually the culprits. All the very best!

Hello Neen

You will find a lot of very useful information and how to keep your blood sugar low and lose weight in a book by Dr Michael Moseley called 'the 8 week blood sugar diet' you can buy on Maxon in book form or kindle

I have followed the diet lost weight and returned my blood sugar to normal.

You need to discuss this with your doctor but it works

Best wishes

Hi, Neenu,

I'm in a similar position: same height, weight and BMI ( obviously) and also have a bigger tummy than I would like.

I took advice from my son, who's a rower and rugby player. He recommended some exercises, particularly 'The Plank'. These help to build up core strength in your muscles and so help to flatten your stomach.

They've helped me a lot and after just a few weeks, people started commenting on how much weight I had lost. But I hadn't, it was just that my tummy had flattened a bit.

So maybe finding some exercises to build core muscles might help you too?
