Accomodating restaurant...

Went out for lunch with a group of friends.. looked at the menu and honestly some of their reaction because I ordered something that wasn't on the menu πŸ™„ literally I asked for two slices of wholemeal toast with three grilled tomatoes on top..bit of Italian seasoning .. had lemon and lime water... They thought it was a disgusting meal to eat.. ( I love tomatoes in anyway shape or form 😁 ) thanks to the staff who knew about my weight loss journey if I order the chicken that has a sauce of some kind or dressings it's automatically put to the side and I can put on how much I want .. infact today the waiter commented on my weight loss..24.6lb and still going strong one happy customer..😊😊😊

Fantastic, Patty! I must admit, I've found most restaurants to be accommodating and will do all they can to provide what you're wanting.

So close to 2 stone lost now and way overdue a new badge!! :)

I find most restaurants are willing to work with customers over their menus. As my step-daughter is a coeliac we have to get kind of nit picky with items on a menu. Most wait staff/restaurants are great. Any that aren't clearly aren't interested in my money and so I take it elsewhere! :)

Good idea to ask for sauces on the side too Bintheredonethat , I have heard that with salad dressing but hadn't thought about it for other sauces as well. Thanks for a good tip! :)

You weren't making your friends eat the same were you? - otherwise their reaction's a little bit OTT, but doesn't it often happen if we don't fit in with the expectation of others?

Well done to you for sticking with your choice!

I also love tomatoes and that sounds like a really good meal to have out - I'll try it next time.

You've achieved a fantastic weight loss so far, and with your willpower (or is it won't power?) and getting the restaurant on your side you'll continue to do brilliantly!
