Banana Ice-Cream part deux

So, I decided to make another version of my strawberry/banana ice-cream of last week. - CHOCOLATE!!!!

Okay, so I went a LITTLE overboard with the chocolate chips and as a result I will have to limit my version to just one scoop which will be 156KCal/7g. In total, from the recipe below I will have six scoops.

5 overly ripe bananas - 600KCal / 1g

1 pack (100g) milk chocolate chips - 528KCal/ 28g (when next I make it I will use quarter pack)

6tbsp whole milk - 65KCal /4 g (last time I used semi-skimmed. I just used whole this time as it needed to be used up from another recipe)

3tbps cocoa - 200KCal/10g (I didn't realise this was so calorific)

1tsp vanilla essence - 45KCal/0g

1tbsp honey - 46KCals/0G

Freeze the bananas overnight. Next day blitz everything saving some of the chocolate chips to adorn the finished product.

I had to use more milk than the strawberry version because there was no moisture in the blitzing as there was when the fresh strawberries were added. The next time, I think I will stick to the 2 tbsp of milk, as with the strawberry version, and freeze half the bananas and add the rest as fresh.

Enjoy!
