As some of you know my first 2 weeks of trying to lose weight I lost 4kg taking me to 64kg, then week 3 up to 65kg my weigh in is tomorrow, I don't know whether to bother I know I will not be less than 65kg. Everyone said I was not eating enough calories so I have upped my daily intake to 1300 cals (NHS guidline says I should eat between 1389 - 1785 daily ) which I find incredible I am only 5ft & a bit I aim to stick to 1300 over the next week & weigh myself before I go on holiday next week.

One of my favourite quotes, kbed, is one of Einstein's. He said:
"If you always do, what you've always done, then you'll always get, what you always got"
Despite being given advice, you're still eating fewer calories than the BMI calculator is recommending for you. If eating too little hasn't been working, what have you got to lose by eating more? I advise that you try 1600 and see how you get on.
I don't know if you've seen this, but it makes for interesting reading

Hi kbed, I agree with everything moreless has said and if you read previous posts some have been doing and feeling the same as you until they upped their calories and started getting regular losses. 3kg is great loss over 3 weeks. I eat around 1700 which is mid range for me at 5'3 some weeks I'll stay the same then lose 3lbs the next and over 11 weeks I have lost 16lbs. Please stick with it, it works and the longer it takes to come off the easier it will be to maintain. If I was following a SS plan I would be on 1250 calories and that in the past has led me to lose a little then gain it back plus a little bit more. Slow and steady wins the race🐢Wishing you well and good luck for tomorrow's weigh in.😊
