...they were so calorific?! Just checked out my Crespo Olives - per 100g, 1282Kcal!!!! Arghhh....B-E-W-A-R-E!

Yes, they are calorific, but they are so nutritious and tasty - I think they're a really healthy food to have as part of a meal - flavoursome and lovely. :-) But like you say, best to beware of eating too many...! :-)

They are said to be good for you, but I don't like them in any format.

Hahaha I am glad that's not true, I love olives and eat them regularly, would hate to have to give them up.
