On Monday I did the twenty minutes of Step exercise and felt good, when I got home yesterday it was a toss up between another session on the step or cut the grass as I was still feeling good, I elected for cutting the grass. Now I don't have massive gardens, the back garden is around 50 feet square, and the two front gardens are 15 feet by 40 feet but they are not just rectangular pieces of grass there are bushes, and couple of fish ponds etc, it took around an hour to strim around the edges and then cut and bag the grass, I still felt good. However this morning my calf muscles and biceps are on fire, I didn't realise that just doing the gentle exercise of cutting my lawns (strimming and pushing the mower) would top up on the step and dumbbell work I did on Monday! It feels like any second I'm going to cramp up :-0, I hope it eases of throughout the day.
Have a good day all.

It takes time for our bodies to adjust NinjaW78 😊 Did you stretch afterwards? A hot bath maybe in order, after some gentle stretches (no Rock music this morning Mick!! Lol )
I must admit on Monday I didn't have a bath, I had a hot shower. And again yesterday I had a shower, the issue is (and I'm sure most of you with teenage children know) that to have a nice soak in the bath never happens as someone always want to use the bathroom just as you have settled to a world of piece and tranquility, so a shower really is my only option when they are in the house. I suppose if I became desperate I could jump into the garden fish pond and have a swim with them
My dad always said when you have a decent garden to maintain you don't need exercise, not sure how true this is but yesterday I started sorting my sons garden out and boy some plants put up a fight taking them out needless to say I ache all over but had the best nights sleep for ages now to get ready for round 2 toady. Hope you feel better with the cramp feelings I hate that😡
Trust me when you have Two border collies that will chase anything you throw, a Rabbit that has the free roam of the back garden,Two teenagers that both play football (Girl and Boy) gardening is a labour of love and not easy especially when you like to see a nicely cut and trimmed garden, so it is constant exercise or should I say a constant battle.
