How does society see a woman ?

I have gone from 13st to 11st 12lbs since I started dieting but since starting the NHS Weight Loss Plan I have only lost 9lbs despite being in my 7th week. I am still very grateful for having lost this weight and feel much better about myself. The encouragement I have received has interacted with my concept of "SELF" and "WOMANHOOD". I have been using lard and disability as a shield against society's views of "the woman", in my instance. I am getting over this now and hope to reach an adequate weight.

You are losing the weight at a very good pace so don't be worrying about doing it faster. Its good to do it slowly like you are.
