In fact I am only 3/4 of the woman I was in January having lost 26.5% of my body weight and reached my target weight of 130 lbs which I have achieved in exactly 6 months and three weeks before my 65th birthday. I have lost weight every week bar one over 26 weeks - although it has varied from as little as 0.4 lbs to 4.3 lbs.
Very pleased but also very conscious that it could all pile back on so easily. My plan is to continue to weigh myself weekly and keep within a range of + or - 2lbs of target. My BMR is 1300 and so I will try a maintenance calorie intake of 1800 and see if this works. To have at least one hours physical activity a day, mainly walking but with at least 2 thirty minute runs a week. To always eat breakfast and continue to eat a balanced healthy diet with minimal sugar and alcohol intake moderated.
The things that have really helped. 1. This community, 2. Reading Overcoming Weight Problems, 3. Counting my calories and 4. My Fitbit.
I know that many of you have had and are having a much greater struggle than I have but by being motivated and focused on healthy weight loss it is possible to achieve your dreams. Don't take my word for it, look at the National Weight Loss Registry web site. I wish you all success on your journey. Daisy1925

Why not join the maintainers club which weighs once a month as that would keep you from putting any back on. You can find them in the Pinned post section.

Well apart from new underwear which was long overdue I have not indulged in too many clothes as I have loads of size 12s from 4 - 5 years ago and can now get into. I did treat myself to a my first pair of Converse trainers as a reward this week. Daisy1925
