Hi Jiversoo64
You can find a calorie counter in the nhs 12 plan on week one. The 12 week plan can be downloaded fron the Home page on the right or at the bottom if you on a mobile. You will find lots of useful links in the first week.
One other thing I would advise to you is make sure you know how many calories you should be eating between by checking the NHS bmi calculator and to make sure you do eat at least somewhere between this amount, because if you do eat any lower than this amount advised your body will think that you are starving it and will turn what you do eat into body fat and this weighs more than eating the extra calories does so it stops you from losing weight and sometimes puts weight on instead. Please don't make this mistake as I made this mistake for years and when I joined here and was advised of this info I upped my calories and have now managed to lose 2 1/2 st so far. Good luck with your journey.
Many of us use the app myfitnesspal to help to count your calories and it shows your weight on a nice graph.
If you have windows 10 on your computer- go in the store and you can download for free 'food diary' which counts the calories for you
I used this site a couple of years ago and was very successful. Having put half my weight loss back on, I am here again. I live in New Zealand, and I am probably the sites oldest member at 80 years old. I used Food Focus, which is a very good site, it counts your calories for you.
Thank you all so much for your messages, i downloaded MFP yesterday and used it all day and it seemed ok so I think i will continue with that! x
